Job Summary
Our client, a leading foodservice equipment and supplies distribution company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a long-term contract position in Holliston, MA. This role supports receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, unpack, inspect, and store merchandise and materials
- Accurately pick orders using a voice-picking system
- Pack and prepare products for shipment
- Load trucks and stage materials for distribution
- Fill requisitions and customer orders in a timely manner
- Operate warehouse equipment, including power jacks and double walkies
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with voice-picking systems
- Experience operating power jacks and double walkies
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and inventory accuracy practices
About the Role
- Contract duration: Long-term contract (approximately 1,300 hours)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM; candidates should expect up to 8 to 10 hours of overtime per week
- Location: Holliston, MA (on-site; no travel required)
- Compensation: Competitive rate
