Warehouse Worker I (Junior)

Location: Commerce, CA 90040
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift (Start time between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker I (Junior) to support warehouse cleanliness, organization, and facility maintenance at our Commerce, California location. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks while working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse cleaning and organization duties.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Remove trash, debris, litter, and other waste materials from the facility.
• Monitor warehouse and service washrooms to ensure they remain clean and fully stocked.
• Restock restroom supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is running low.
• Place appropriate safety signage for wet floors, wet paint, and other hazards as needed.
• Respond promptly to spills, cleaning emergencies, and other facility maintenance issues.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Support supervisors by identifying facility maintenance needs and supply requirements.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Flexible availability for day shift scheduling.
• Prior warehouse, janitorial, porter, or facility maintenance experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
