Warehouse Worker

Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,400 employees across four time zones and seven sites,we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.
Our team is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join them. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Warehouse Worker position, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- High school diploma or equivalence
- 1+ years knowledge of manufacturing warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to use all standard warehouse equipment
- Strong computer and technical skills
As a Warehouse Worker, you will:
- Pack materials accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards and deadlines
- Pull stock for work orders and sales orders according to requirement dates
- Perform cycle counts and maintain precise inventory records
- Maintain inventory accuracy across receiving, issuing, picking, and shipping
- Ensure accuracy on all documentation related to inventory transactions
- Report any inventory discrepancies directly to management
- Maintain a 24-hour turnaround time for kits and sales orders
- Access computer systems to issue, receive, transfer materials, and create packing list numbers
- Receive incoming shipments and deliver materials to and from internal customers
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure special requirements are met
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
- Practice good safety awareness and follow company safety guidelines
- Work effectively with coworkers, customers, and other departments by sharing ideas constructively and positively
Compensation Pay Range: $20.00
