Day - Hours: Monday–Friday; 6am-2:30pm
Night - Hours: Monday–Friday; 10PM-6:30AM
Overview
Seeking an experienced Machine Operator II to set up, operate, and monitor production equipment used in the manufacturing of metal and plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, blueprint reading, machine troubleshooting, and basic maintenance skills.
Job Description
  • Set up and operate various production machines and equipment.
  • Inspect finished products and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Read blueprints and work orders to determine specifications and production requirements.
  • Load, position, and secure materials for processing.
  • Change tools, dies, cutters, and machine accessories as needed.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Report major equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Required Skills
  • 2–4 years of machine operation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
