Hanes Geo Components, a division of Leggett & Platt in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a warehouse worker, that will be producing an erosion control product in a warehouse setting or operating a forklift to load customer orders or unload inventory. We will provide training. We require the candidate to be a team player. Forklift experience is an advantage but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written).
- Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
- Be Safety Conscious.
- Sit-Down Forklift
- Order Pulling
- RF Scanner
- Shipping/Receiving
- Flatbed Trailer Loading/Unloading
- 53ft. Box Truck Loading/Unloading
- Inventory Control (Stocking, Accurate Product Counting, etc.)
- Facility Cleanliness
- Be Prompt And Prepared To Work (Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm)
- Customer Service (Will deal with customers frequently and will need to display patience and cooperation)
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:- All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
- Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
- Read and follow instructions on orders.
- Pull stock using proper equipment.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
