Buckley Cable Construction is an essential telecommunications construction company supporting the networks communities rely on. We’re seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to help keep materials organized, accurate, and ready for the field. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day warehouse operations through safe material handling, precise inventory transactions, and timely shipping/receiving across our locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments (truck/parcel) against packing slips and purchase documents.
Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment to job sites, crews, and/or other company locations.
Operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts) and handle materials safely.
Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in company systems.
Perform cycle counts and support inventory control processes to reduce variances.
Accurately enter data into required software programs; identify and correct errors using established quality checks.
Scan, organize, and maintain documents and files (digital and hard copy) per company standards.
Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations following organizational and safety standards.
Make deliveries and/or transfer materials between facilities or job sites as assigned.
Maintain a clean, safe work area; follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience required (certification required where applicable).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Comfort using online applications, databases, and inventory systems.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Dependable self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (as required by location).
Ability to lift 60+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license required
