Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Worker (Order Picker) is responsible for accurately selecting, collecting, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role involves working in a warehouse environment, operating equipment when required, and maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Verify item quantities, descriptions, and locations for accuracy.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipping or staging.
• Use handheld scanners, RF devices, or warehouse management systems.
• Replenish inventory and organize stock as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with receiving, loading, unloading, and inventory counts when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs (or as required by the employer).
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
