Warehouse Worker Parts Material Handler

Salary: $17.00 per hour based upon experience

Monday - Friday 7:00AM - Completion

Get Paid Daily. Team members now have the flexibility to Draw Pay between pay cycles.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Must be able to safely operate stockpicker/cherrypicker

• Must be able to do heavy lifiting

• Ablity to work on the computer and company software (MDC, MSC, HVTNET)

• Ablity to work a scanner

• Receive parts, locate and store parts, process receiving reports

• Maintain a clean and clear work environment, free from trip hazards.

• Responsible for manual material handling of furniture within the distribution facility.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Heavy lifting required.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must complete and understand all company sponsored safety programs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly receiving area.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Heavy lifting required up to 100 lbs.
• Must comply with Havertys safety requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout shift.
• Team Player.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, lifting assessment, and drug test including testing for THC.
• Must complete and understand all company-sponsored safety programs.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting: must wear proper Havertys-provided uniforms, steel-toed work boots/shoes required, safety gear when applicable.

Physical Demands:

• Must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position.
• You must be able to stand for extended periods and operate various equipment, such as cherry pickers and tugger. Responsibilities include moving furniture from racks and unloading and loading trucks.
