This position involves maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment.
- Receive production and work orders, verify quantities, and keep records.
- Determine shipment methods and affix labels or stencils on cartons and pallets.
- Wrap cartons on pallets and ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and operate equipment like forklifts and handtrucks.
- Assist with incoming shipments and internal deliveries.
- Promote a safe, clean work environment and suggest improvements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience, forklift experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
