Warehouse Worker

Position Summary

The Fabric Finisher is responsible for inspecting, calculating, measuring, trimming, matching, sewing, fitting, and packaging both printed and unprinted fabric and vinyl graphics. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and quality craftsmanship while working within established production schedules. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to ensure all projects are completed accurately and on time.

The Fabric Finisher operates and maintains sewing machines, knives, scissors, measuring tools, and other equipment necessary for graphic production while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities also include tracking production progress and labor time, continuously improving technical skills, assisting with the training of Fabric Finishing personnel, and performing other duties assigned by the Graphic Production Fabric Finishing Supervisor, Fabric Finishing Leads, Manager of Graphic Production, or other Graphic Production Supervisors.

Schedule - Full-Time

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.

Environment: Warehouse climate controlled

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect printed and unprinted materials for quality and accuracy.
• Measure, calculate, trim, match, sew, fit, and package fabric and vinyl graphics.
• Operate sewing machines and other fabric finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain sewing machines, tools, and workstations.
• Ensure finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Record job progress and labor time accurately.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring Fabric Finishing personnel.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by department leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in sewing techniques, terminology, applications, and measurements.
• Understanding of basic mathematics and geometry. Ability to do fractional math.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient with tape measures, scissors, clamps, fabric weights, knives, and other sewing tools.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.
