Warehouse/Utility Worker – $20.95/hr

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay: $20.95/hour
Employment Type: Contract with potential to transition to a full-time internal position

We are currently seeking dependable, safety-focused Warehouse/Utility Workers for an opportunity in Hudson, NY. This is a contract position offering consistent daytime hours and the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role.

Responsibilities

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning of equipment, work areas, and buildings

• Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as needed

• Assist with product and material handling

• Operate or assist with the operation of forklifts, skid-steers, and front-end loaders

• Support rail operations

• Shovel material and operate industrial vacuum equipment

• Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong commitment to maintaining a zero-injury safety culture

• Reliable, regular, and prompt attendance

• Ability to work independently and take initiative while also working effectively as part of a team

• Professional attitude and respectful approach in the workplace

• Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the Hudson, NY worksite

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand or sit for prolonged periods

• Bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and work from heights

• Work in confined spaces when required

• Work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and dust

• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

• Shovel material and operate vacuum equipment

Work Schedule & Site Requirements

Standard hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Candidates should also be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate/rotating shifts if operational needs require.

Employees must arrive in appropriate work clothing, including:

• Steel-toe boots

• Clean work clothing

• Clothing appropriate for current weather conditions

• No sleeveless shirts or shorts
