Warehouse Worker
Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker for a long-term government contract located at Federal warehouses in Washington, DC. Duties:
- Receiving, inspecting, delivering, and loading and unloading trucks
- Understands warehousing processes and systems
- Understands inventory management systems
- Experience with furniture moving
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to work independently
- Highly dependable and punctual
Furniture moves and relocations
Transporting bulk items
Operating Material Handling Equipment
Operating the Warehouse Management System
Requirements:
- Must be able to receive and maintain a government badge for site access
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Forklift Experience preferred
- Experience with Government contracts is preferred
- Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be capable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs.)
