Warehouseman

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouseman to join a growing team in Houma. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and local deliveries while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare parts for customer and internal orders
• Receive and process work orders, purchase orders, and inventory shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and report location changes as needed
• Process core returns and shipments to vendors
• Complete inventory transaction documentation, including quantities, locations, and required signatures
• Ensure all warehouse paperwork and reports are forwarded to the appropriate personnel
• Coordinate shipments with UPS and other shipping carriers
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities
• Deliver and pick up parts locally as needed
• Participate in an after-hours call rotation with warehouse staff
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Identify and communicate opportunities for safety improvements
• Maintain knowledge of safe work practices at all times

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, including Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn forklift operation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift and move warehouse materials safely

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
• Pay starts at $17.00 per hour
