Trial Attorney - Warranty Litigation (5+ yrs) - SF/LA/SDOur client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Trial Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its California-based litigation team. This role focuses exclusively on representing and defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation matters.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trial lawyer seeking significant courtroom responsibility and a robust litigation practice. Prior warranty litigation experience is not required.ResponsibilitiesDefend automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships in warranty and related consumer litigation mattersManage cases through all phases of litigation, from initial assessment through trial or resolutionConduct and defend depositionsDraft and argue substantive motionsRepresent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trialsHandle witness preparation and examinationDeliver opening statements and closing argumentsDevelop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and legal teamsMaintain regular client communication and case reportingQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive membership and good standing with the California BarMinimum of 5 years of litigation experienceSignificant trial and/or arbitration experience, including:Opening statementsClosing argumentsWitness examinationsMotion practiceDepositionsMediationExceptional advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skillsStrong academic credentialsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesAbility to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentPreferred ExperienceExperience defending complex commercial, product liability, consumer protection, or automotive-related litigation mattersPrior warranty litigation experience is a plus but not requiredWhy This OpportunityOur client is a well-established national law firm with a broad platform and strong litigation practice.
