Job description:

The Warranty Technician will contact customers to set up repairs or replacements. Order supplies, parts, and materials needed to complete warranty work orders. Perform repairs listed on work orders. Return completed work orders daily, noting any items that require follow up.

Primary Function: Diagnose, repair, or replace products covered under warranty.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer warranty inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Troubleshoot product issues and determine warranty eligibility
• Process warranty claims and maintain accurate records in company systems
• Coordinate repairs, replacements, and parts shipments as needed
• Document customer interactions and resolutions
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve product and service issues
• Test, inspect, and evaluate returned products when necessary
• Assist with repair and maintenance of products using hand and power tools
• Maintain organized warranty and repair records
• Provide exceptional customer service while resolving customer concerns professionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a technician or in a similar role
• Previous customer service experience required
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and handling technical inquiries
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of product and NetSuite
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
• Experience using hand tools and performing minor repairs is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Fine motor skills or hand-eye coordination
• Cigar Accessories brand knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
