Olympic Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Sequim, WA.
The schedule is Monday–Friday from 9am-5pm.
The starting pay $20/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
+ Moving trucks safely
+ Parking trucks safely and in an organized manner
+ Washing and organizing tires
+ Organizing Washbay equipment
+ Wash containers, trucks, and floors
+ Ensure Washbay is kept in clean and safe working condition
+ Ensure all containers coming into the shop are washed and left in a state that is representative of our service levels
+ Responsible for prioritizing work, based on communication with operations management staff, operators, mechanical staff, welders, and others to ensure that customer expectations for timely service are met
+ Report containers needing repair
+ Ensure the building is secure and locked at shift end
Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of operation of forklifts, trucks, and washers
+ Minimum Class 3A driver’s licence with clean abstract
+ Ability to multi-task
+ Ability to learn new tasks quickly
+ Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
+ Good communication skills
+ Physically fit
+ Mechanically inclined
