Job Summary The Washline Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient performance of the washing process by following the established procedures for the Washline. Shift: Third shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Monday - Friday; weekend flexibility as needed Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty listed below satisfactorily. Supervisory Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Monitor all washlines in operation during the shift, and ensure holding tanks are loaded at all times.
- Load all washlines as required by assigned production packets, record information such as material type, lot numbers, and quantities, and report any discrepancies.
- Must clearly understand and perform all procedures and equipment per training and attend all required training sessions (including safety training).
- Responsible for submitting samples to the lab and performing PPM testing on TPO.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the line and the surrounding area (including outside).
- Take display readings per batch as required by the production report.
- Track material inventory and production information by inputting required information in Excel and washing production logbook and manual documents, updating raw material TV Monitor.
- Visually inspect silos (up to 100k) to verify material levels.
- Must be attentive to any contamination issues and handle issues appropriately.
- Inform the supervisor of any damaged equipment or equipment improvement needed.
- Unclog transfer pipes and pumps when the material is backed up.
- Accurately weigh and label products, store and stage materials in the proper location with a forklift.
- Possess the knowledge to differentiate products, keep current with material types, and know line material flow.
- Work closely and communicate with raw material loaders, maintenance department, and compounding production supervisors.
- Aid in the safety and operations training of new employees.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the support of business and process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned, including general housekeeping.

- Mechanical inclination.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 or more years of experience in a related field required.
- 2 or more years of sit-down propane forklift experience required.
Work Environment: This job operates inside a warehouse/dock area where the temperature may vary. Physical Demands: - Prolonged periods of standing per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver the facility on unforgiving surfaces.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold climates and in an environment with many noises and odors.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, safety vest, hard hat, steel toe shoes, gloves, and other job-specific required PPE.
