Job Posting
In this full-time AFSCME bargaining unit position, youll help maintain and operate the Citys sanitary and storm sewer collection systems, including lift stations, pumps, motors, generators, and related equipment. This position is responsible for the Citys wastewater collection system only. Wastewater treatment plant operations are managed separately through the Citys contract with PeopleService. Youll also operate specialized equipment, including a sewer vactor truck, and help ensure the reliable operation of the Citys wastewater infrastructure. This position includes a scheduled on-call rotation and requires the ability and willingness to respond to emergency sewer system situations as needed.
