Operator will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of the wastewater plant.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Plant operations, water testing, data recording, and computer skills

Operator will be alert to conditions at all times
- Record operations in log and communicate with supervisor and others for operations
- Be flexible on working hours and adaptable to changes if needed for plant operations
- New hires will have to demonstrate the ability and desire to obtain a state certification
Qualifications:
- Communicate effectively, oral and written
- Mathematical skills
- Understand safety rules and instruction
- Capable of lifting or carrying 50 lbs
- Walking up and down stairs
- Working in confined areas
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Handling potentially hazardous water treatment and laboratory chemicals
- Minimum exposure to inclement weather
- Be able to get PIT and Yard Truck
- Must have a valid driver license to operate company vehicles
- Must be certified in water or wastewater or ability to obtain certification
