Wastewater/Filter Plant Utilities Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wastewater / Filter Plant / Utilities Operator to support the daily operation of our client’s textile facility located in Pendleton, SC. This position plays an important role in maintaining plant utilities, supporting environmental compliance, and responding to plant emergencies. If you are mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and interested in a career that helps protect the environment while supporting essential plant operations, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Filter Plant.
• Operate and monitor air compressors, hot water systems, exhaust fans, and heaters.
• Perform water testing and monitor plant air pressure and water systems.
• Troubleshoot utility equipment and assist with resolving operational issues.
• Obtain utility meter readings by operating a company vehicle on-site.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate interior plant environmental conditions.
• Respond to plant safety, fire, and environmental emergencies as needed.
• Participate in plant security activities.
• Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Complete required documentation and communicate operational concerns to supervision.

Requirements

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License.
• Mobile Equipment License or willingness to complete required training.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Moderate mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety and participation in plant safety initiatives.
• Interest in environmental protection and sustainability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous experience with industrial utilities, water treatment, or mechanical equipment is a plus, but not required.

Schedule: 12 hour Rotating 1st/3rd 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM/ 8:00 PM – 8:00 AMPay: Based on experience and license level. Starting at $20.75. #IND3
