Wastewater Operator in Training

We're seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to support daily operations and maintenance of treatment facilities.
Responsibilities include monitoring systems, controlling flow with pumps and valves, recording readings, collecting samples, performing basic lab tests, and assisting with equipment maintenance.
Ideal for those starting their career or working toward certification, with training provided.
Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, DOE.

• Operate and monitor treatment processes
• Control flow using pumps, valves, and control systems
• Record readings and maintain logs
• Collect samples and perform routine lab tests
• Identify and report system issues
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to follow instructions.
Preferred skills are knowledge of equipment, understanding of biological and chemical processes, familiarity with safe work practices, and interest in certification.
