We are seeking a licensed Wastewater Operator to manage the operation of municipal wastewater treatment plants.
Responsibilities include
- operating equipment such as valves, pumps, and disinfection systems,
- conducting routine testing and maintenance,
- responding to emergencies,
- training staff,
- and ensuring facility safety and cleanliness.
Requirements include - a high school diploma or GED,
- at least 1 year of wastewater operations experience,
- a valid driver’s license,
- and preferably a Wastewater Operator's License.
Technical skills involve following manuals, systems knowledge, and basic computer proficiency.
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently, including various shifts and physical demands like lifting up to 60 pounds.
