Wastewater Treatment Engineer

Multidisciplinary design firmis seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join their Dallas team as a subject matter expert!                      

Responsibilities:

• Advise internal/external teams on all wastewatertreatment issues
• As the subject matter expert on wastewater treatment,provide firm-wide direction, internal consultation, and services to clients
• Ensure all processes/systems comply with local,state, and federal regulations
• Prepare/review compliance documentation andreports
• Maintain reputation as technical expert bywriting papers, giving technical presentations, and/or regularly represent thefirm in professional/technical societies
• Produce quality work and ensure QC standardsare maintained
• Research/analyze wastewater-related data,trends, and emerging technologies
• Build/maintain client relationships
• Represent firm at professional organizations
• Lead/manage water/wastewater treatment projectsfrom design through implementation
• Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules
• Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Master’s degree in chemical, civil, mechanical,or environmental engineering preferred
• 10+ years of water/wastewater processing engineeringexperience
• PE License
• Strong technical background/experience inwastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory compliance

Salary is commensurate with experience.
