Description
Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join their Lincoln team as a subject matter expert!
Responsibilities:
Advise internal/external teams on all wastewater treatment issues
As the subject matter expert on wastewater treatment, provide firm-wide direction, internal consultation, and services to clients
Ensure all processes/systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Prepare/review compliance documentation and reports
Maintain reputation as technical expert by writing papers, giving technical presentations, and/or regularly represent the firm in professional/technical societies
Produce quality work and ensure QC standards are maintained
Research/analyze wastewater-related data, trends, and emerging technologies
Build/maintain client relationships
Represent firm at professional organizations
Lead/manage water/wastewater treatment projects from design through implementation
Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules
Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Master’s degree in chemical, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering preferred
10+ years of water/wastewater processing engineering experience
PE License
Strong technical background/experience in wastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory compliance
