Job Description

This entry-level role offloads immediate, high-volume routine tasks, such as Tag Heuer Basic Service, Tag Overhaul and MRE’s, from senior watchmakers while establishing a structured pathway to become a fully certified Watchmaker. Under direct mentorship, the technician will master basic horological skills, scale service throughput, and build a long-term technical career within the company.

  • Exterior Work: Handle bracelet sizing, strap replacements, spring bar fixes, and ultrasonic case cleaning.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute water-resistance pressure tests and monitor multi-position timekeeping accuracy for completed repairs.
  • Logistics & Support: Manage incoming short jobs, clean and organize bench workstations, and order and catalog incoming spare parts.
  • Apprenticeship Training: Participate actively in hands-on mentorship modules covering mechanical movements, hairspring manipulation, and micromechanics.

Qualifications

  • Experience: No prior watchmaking experience required; background in fine mechanics, jewelry making, or detailed assembly is a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional manual dexterity, steady hands, and comfort working under a loupe or microscope for extended periods.
  • Traits: Intense focus, patience, strong organizational skills, and a passionate desire to learn the trade of horology.
