The Watch Systems Architecture team is seeking a hands-on engineer to help shape the future of wearable technology. As a key member of our team, youll support the development of next-generation products through a combination of architecture work, prototyping, analysis, and technical validation. Youll have the opportunity to dive deep into system-level challenges, work closely with architects and engineers across various disciplines, and contribute to a product that impacts millions of users worldwide.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, experience with system design and validation, and a passion for technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate the ability to translate system requirements into practical implementations, simulations, and test plans.

System Design & Analysis: Contribute to the architecture and design of Watch systems, working alongside senior architects to define specifications and evaluate design trade-offs. Develop simulations and analytical models to predict system behavior and validate design decisions. Particular emphasis is paid to power consumption, and conversion, Definition of PMIC (Power Management IC) and peak power management.

Technical Validation & Characterization: Build prototypes and develop test plans to validate new features and system improvements. Conduct measurements and analyses to characterize performance, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure robust system operation.

Data Analysis & Modeling: Create and maintain analysis scripts and tools to process measurement data, generate insights, and support design decisions. Develop simulation models to explore design spaces and predict system-level impacts.

Feature Development: Support end-to-end feature implementation by defining hardware/firmware partitioning, validating interfaces, and ensuring alignment with system requirements and user experience goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architecture, hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the development cycle. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through documentation, presentations, and technical discussions.

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in system design, validation, or architecture Proficiency in developing simulations and data analysis scripts using Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar languages Experience with lab equipment and measurement techniques (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical findings

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience with embedded systems, power management, or sensor integration Familiarity with system modeling and simulation tools Experience with wearable devices or battery-powered systems Knowledge of one or more areas: computer architecture, wireless connectivity, or low- power design
