Minimum Qualifications
Eighth grade. Six months of experience in the operation of medium-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbed trucks, single unit cargo trucks, tank trucks or similar equipment are required. Must possess a CDL/Class B with tanker endorsement.

This position involves intermediate equipment operations, including the use of ride-on mowers, utility vehicles, small tractors, and light attachments. The growing number of landscaped areas, particularly in newly developed zones, requires dedicated equipment operators to meet service expectations and alleviate the manual labor workload. Filling this role will enhance efficiency, minimize wear on shared equipment, and prevent operational delays caused by equipment availability and insufficiently qualified operators. This position ties into the WAVE strategic plan under Exceptional Customer Experience due to the service we provide to our internal customers and also to our external customers when we perform work at pump stations, ROWs, canal crossings, vacant properties etc. This classification also tie into Efficient and Innovative Organization. Being staffed adequately allows us to grow our operation and take Grounds to a level the county hasnt seen before.
