Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and or pneumatic instrumentation and process control equipment. An ISA level one Certified Control System Technician certification, an Associates Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology, or an Industrial Electronics Technical Certification may substitute for the required experience. Must possess a driver license. Possession of a Miami-Dade County Electrical Journeyman license is preferred.
Recruitment Notes
This position reports to the Department's Wastewater Treatment and Maintenance Division and may be assigned to any of the three Wastewater Treatment Plants. Incumbent will be required to respond to emergencies, respond after hours and available for overtime as needed.
