Water and Sewer Plant Mechanic

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Three years of skilled experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of pumps and related mechanical equipment are required. Must possess a CDL/Class B.

Recruitment Notes

The Plant Mechanic position is assigned to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department's Wastewater Treatment & Maintenance Division and may be assigned to any of the three Wastewater Treatment Plants or major pump stations. Incumbents may be assigned to afternoon shifts and must be available to work overtime and respond to emergency situations.
