Water and Sewer Power Plant Operator 2

Minimum Qualifications

High School or GED. Three years of experience in the operation of largescale stationary engines and generators OR in the operation and/or maintenance of power engines and/or generator systems; OR one year of experience as a Diesel Plant Operator or W&S Power Plant Operator 1 in the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department are required. Must possess a Drivers license.

Recruitment Notes

Positions are assigned to the Wastewater Treatment Plants and may be required to work at any of the three treatment plants or Major Pump Stations, as determined by operational needs. Employees must be available to work varied shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency situations as required.
