About the Role:
Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Jersey Shore is looking for an experienced and driven Water Damage Lead Technician (Crew Chief) to join our growing team in Wall Township, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise water damage restoration crews on residential and commercial job sites
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
• Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily drying logs
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC S500 water damage restoration standards
• Train and mentor junior technicians on proper techniques and safety protocols
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient job completion

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or a related field
• IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience operating extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency response
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding environments
