Job Summary We are looking for a dependable, motivated
Water Damage Technician to join our team in Shreveport, LA and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role involving demolition, water extraction, and equipment setup. Paid training is available for the right candidate—so whether you bring prior experience in construction/demolition or are ready to learn a new trade, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities- Assist with water damage mitigation, including water extraction and structural drying
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
- Perform demolition and removal of water-damaged materials
- Document job progress with moisture readings, photos, and written notes
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
- Complete required forms and checklists accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License & maintain a good driving record
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, and helping maneuver up to 75 lbs with equipment or team assistance
- Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Background in demolition or construction preferred
- IICRC WRT certification a plus (not required—training available)
