California Water District Sales Representative
Irrigation company selling integrated water solution management systems with strong presence in the agriculture market, is hiring an individual who can sell directly into the California Water District.
Individual must have water infrastructure sales experience and should have an engineering / technical degree, where they can roll up the sleeves.
Position requires an understanding and experience selling solutions into the California Water Districts
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the total management of sales activities of the company's integrated water solution management solutions, to California Water District
- Provide pre- and post-sales support.
- Provide technical consulting on company's products
- Extensive travels within territory
Background
- Technical experience in valves, meters, automated controls…
- Knowledge and experience selling into the Water Districts.
- Effective solution selling abilities.
- Experience in conducting product seminars to large professional groups.
- Should be comfortable with CRM and CAD software
Education and Experience
- BA in an engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in a similar role with familiarity in irrigation.
