Midwest Pool Management is hiring Water Fitness Instructors to lead engaging and effective water-based exercise classes at Warrenton Aquatic Center. Water Fitness Instructors play a critical role in promoting fitness, mobility, and overall wellness for participants of varying ages and abilities. This role focuses on creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment while helping participants achieve their fitness goals. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, motivating, dependable, and enjoy working in a team-oriented, active setting.
Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: Based on your availability, you will be expected to work the full session for which you are scheduled
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and work with participants of diverse ages and fitness levels
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of aquatic exercise principles and water safety (preferred)
- Previous experience teaching water fitness or group exercise classes (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and effective water fitness classes
- Always maintain safety and never leave a class unattended
- Modify exercises to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels and abilities
- Monitor class participants and enforce pool rules consistently
- Maintain a welcoming, motivating, and professional class atmosphere
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach scheduled classes
- Communicate effectively with participants and facility staff
- Report incidents, injuries, or equipment issues to management promptly
Certifications & Training
- Additional water fitness training will be provided as needed
