The Department of Environmental Services (DES), Water Sewer Streets (WSS) Bureau, is seeking a Water Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role provides daily supervision to two crews responsible for ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality water for both domestic use and fire protection for a metropolitan area of 250,000 people. The team supports this mission by locating and repairing leaks, installing new service connections, and maintaining proper system pressure and flow. Work is performed in a combination of office and outdoors environments. Outdoor conditions may include all types of weather, moving traffic, exposure to drafts, noise, dust, grease, and dirt with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting light to very heavy objects and equipment.

Additional Information
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm; However, the employee may be required to work other shifts and overtime as needed. Must be available for callbacks and emergencies.
