FTD Solutions is looking for a Water Management Engineer in Hillsboro, OR, to work side by side with client engineers and site leaders at a semiconductor facility to turn water data into decisions and action. This role is a strong fit for chemical, environmental, or water treatment engineers. It's a long-term role in a multi-year program, backed by FTD's global water team.
What You'll Do
Lead the deployment and ongoing operation of the water management program at the client's semiconductor campus
Serve as the on-site technical lead for client engineering and site leadership, representing FTD Solutions
Analyze water balance, water treatment, wastewater, water quality, and reuse data, and use FTD's water model to recommend a path forward
Standardize and scale water conservation, reclamation, and compliance processes, with performance metrics that improve site water performance
What We're Looking For
Strong technical and analytical skills, with expertise in water systems, water treatment, and water chemistry
Ability to lead projects and collaborate with diverse teams
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Semiconductor facilities, ultrapure water (UPW), or industrial wastewater (including acid/HF) experience is a big plus
Confident communicator who can lead a room of engineers
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. Degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or equivalent education.
7+ years of engineering experience preferred. Relevant experience matters most: if you have 2–4 years in semiconductor facilities, ultrapure water, or industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment, we encourage you to apply.
