What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering water quality permit and compliance services for leading industrial clients.
Managing projects from kickoff to completion—budgets, timelines, QA/QC, and client relationships.
Preparing high-quality technical correspondence, reports, and proposals.
Developing, reviewing, and interpreting water quality and wastewater models to support permitting, compliance evaluations, and client decision-making.
Serving as a liaison with regulatory agencies in Louisiana and Texas.
Mentoring and guiding junior staff.
Conducting occasional fieldwork as needed.
Qualification:
A BS or MS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
At least 8 years of consulting experience in water quality.
5–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial wastewater permitting and compliance, and water quality modeling.
In-depth knowledge of water quality regulations, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act, and CWA Section 316(b), especially in Louisiana and/or Texas.
Strong expertise in NPDES/TPDES/LPDES discharge permitting and compliance.
Proficiency in developing compliance plans (e.g., SPCC, SWPPP, FRP, Dock Operations, TRE/TIE).
Excellent communication skills—with the ability to distill technical data into clear, client-ready language.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful project delivery and client engagement.
The ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
Willingness to participate in professional organizations and attend industry conferences.
Additional Requirements:
Must meet all Drug & Alcohol, Health & Safety, and Security requirements—including eligibility for a TWIC card.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to operate a full-size pickup truck safely is essential.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel as needed.
