Water Out is hiring a full-time Water Restoration Technician in Fort Wayne, IN to help restore homes and businesses affected by water damage, fire damage, and other disasters. This is an active, hands-on position where you will work directly with a team to remove damaged materials, set up drying equipment, and help return properties to a safe, livable condition.This disaster restoration position pays $20 - $24/hour, depending on experience. You come to work ready and well-trained for the variety of challenges each event brings. Upon arriving at the site, you give the client a firm handshake, look them in the eye, and let them know they can trust our company to do what's best. You then set about fixing the problem, which often requires removing materials from the home, setting up drying equipment, and monitoring the situation to ensure that all will be well when you leave.Whether you labor as part of a team or handle the job on your own, you are diligent and reliable. Once a month, you're on call, which means you sometimes work odd hours. You don't mind, though. When the phone rings, you jump at the chance to go out and make a difference. This is why you love your job!Your ScheduleThis full-time disaster cleanup position typically works from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, but the end time will vary depending on the job.You will be expected to provide one week of on-call service each month.
