Location: Tully, NY | Full-time, in person | Work at customer locations

Pay: $52,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

About the role

As a Water Systems Installation and Service Technician, you'll install, troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment at customer locations. You'll learn how water systems work while building on your mechanical abilities. Some days will involve diagnosing a problem; others will involve installing equipment and making sure it works as intended.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service water system equipment at customer locations.
• Work with pumps, pressure systems, plumbing, electrical components, and controls.
• Install and service water treatment equipment.
• Diagnose system problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Repair or replace equipment and components as needed.
• Test your work and help ensure systems operate properly.
• Explain service work clearly and professionally to customers.
• Coordinate with team members and continue developing your skills through training.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on troubleshooting.
• Dependability and the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements 
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Comfort with the physical demands of field service work, including lifting equipment.

Helpful, but not required:

• Experience or training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, automotive repair, equipment service, or another hands-on trade.
• Pump or water treatment experience.

Pay and benefits

• Full-time, W-2, year-round work.
• Pay:$52,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
