For more than 25 years, Woodard & Curran has offered contract operations and management services for drinking water, municipal and industrial wastewater, groundwater remediation, and solid waste facilities nationwide. Currently we contract operate more than 50 facilities nationwide. Woodard & Curran draws on the experience of hundreds of certified operators across the country, backed by the knowledge and skills of hundreds more engineers, scientists, and regulatory experts, to quickly tackle the most challenging operational issues and keep treatment plants running efficiently and in full compliance.
As an Operator, you will participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the 16 MGD Surface Water Treatment Facility and remote pump stations as directed by the Project Manager. This facility is highly automated and utilizes pulsating, upflow clarifiers with conventional coagulation in conjunction with chlorine dioxide and UV disinfection. Your primary focus will be in operation and maintenance of facilities equipment, grounds keeping, and process control monitoring and troubleshooting. You will manage process data, perform routine lab analysis, operate SCADA controls and perform computer data entry and other operation and maintenance tasks as directed.
Schedule:
Full-time Night shift, days of the week vary. Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am. A shift differential will be provided for working nights. Some weekends included. Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position. Availability for standby duty and the ability to be "on-call," working days, weekends and holidays as needed. On-call stipend provided when on-call. Response to emergency events and alarm call-outs required as scheduled and required. Opportunities available to work overtime.
