WATER TREATMENT TECHNICIAN

 

Position Overview

TRC Talent is seeking a skilled and reliable Water Treatment Technician to join our team at a solar panel warehouse in White, GA. This role is essential in ensuring the facility’s water treatment systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment operations, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and a strong commitment to supporting sustainable energy practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• 
  
•  

  Monitor, operate, and maintain water treatment systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and wastewater systems.

•

  Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• 
  
•  

  Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, tanks, and related equipment.

• 
  
•  

  Ensure all water treatment processes meet OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory requirements.

•

  Maintain detailed logs of water quality tests, maintenance activities, and system performance.

• 
  
•  

  Manage inventory of chemicals, spare parts, and supplies needed for water treatment operations.

•

  Collaborate with facility staff and management on sustainability projects and system upgrades.

Qualifications

 

• 
  
•  

  High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in water treatment, environmental systems, or related field preferred.

• 
  
•  

  Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment or maintenance, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

•

  Knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes, and regulatory compliance standards.

•

  Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems related to water treatment.

  Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and stand/walk for extended periods.

•

  Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
