They are actively hiring Water Utility Service Technicians at multiple experience levels to support operations in the Bradenton area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on sewer collection systems
- Work on pumps, valves, motors, and related mechanical equipment
- Support sewer and manhole rehabilitation projects
- Assist with inspections, including CCTV systems
- Perform repairs on sewer lines, manholes, and lift stations
- Maintain facilities, equipment, and surrounding grounds
- Respond to customer concerns and emergency call-outs as needed
- Complete daily logs, readings, and data entry
- Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and chemicals
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Hands-on, field-based role working within sewer systems and lift stations
- Work can be physically demanding and dirty at times
- Strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and proper procedures
- Training provided, especially for confined space and lift station work
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical aptitude (experience with pumps, valves, motors, or similar systems)
- Willingness to learn and build a long-term career
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DMV check
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, day shift
Rotating weekends and holidays
On-call rotation for emergency response ($200 per call-out)
Job 59066 Salary: 26-35/hr | Overtime eligible (based on on-call rotation) | Annual performance bonus + health & safety bonus
