The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and / or detailed design and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection / distribution systems.In the role of Water/Wastewater Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project EngineerPrepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work with the owner under the direction of the PM/PEAssist quality control reviews of completed designsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression*LI-BC1Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
