Overview Join to apply for the Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator role at HDR .HDR is committed to employment equity and an inclusive environment where employee-owners are valued and empowered to bring their authentic selves and ideas to work every day.Responsibilities Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution systems under instruction from the Project EngineerPrepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the ownerConduct quality control reviews of completed designsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent fieldEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionAutodesk Revit and Civil 3D experienceBluebeam PDF software experienceCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systemsExperience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production toolsMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe HDR is our company.
