A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years in business is looking for a Senior
Water/Wastewater Engineer for their Milwaukee office! This is a hybrid position that includes in office work three days a week and remote work two days per week.
Responsibilities:
Serve
as lead design engineer for a variety of multi-disciplined, complex public/private
water and wastewater projects
Coach/mentor
junior staff
Project
manager duties including evaluating scope/scheduling requirements, coordinate
planning strategies, and provide quality assurance and quality control
Develop
a strategic market development plan
Build/maintain
client relationships
Look
for business development opportunities
Actively
participate in professional associations
Represent
company at trade shows/conferences
Requirements:
Bachelor’s
Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Advanced
degree preferred
8+
years of progressive technical design experience
4+
years of experience managing public/private water and/or wastewater treatment
infrastructure and facility projects
PE
License
Business
development experience
Experience
developing detailed plans/specifications for construction
Previous
client and project management experience
Experience
mentoring/training team of engineering professionals
Ability
to travel approximately 15% of the time for meetings/site visits
Working
knowledge of ArcMap, SWWM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD and/or Revit
preferred
Experience leading/managing multi-discipline design projects with
engineering fees in excess of $1.0 million
Salary is commensurate with
experience.
