Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering and one year of professional supervisory experience to include planning or installation, repair and maintenance of water/sewer pipelines, general construction or mechanical maintenance; or High school diploma or GED and five years of supervisory experience related to the installation, repair and maintenance of water/sewer pipelines, general construction or mechanical maintenance are required. Must possess a Driver license.

W&S Operations Manager role is responsible to lead large scale construction, repair, and maintenance activities within the Mechanical Sections for the Countys Water Treatment Plants and water distribution systems. This leadership role oversees critical infrastructure that supports public health, safety, and the uninterrupted delivery of essential water services to our community, providing strategic direction and daily operational oversight for an extensive workforce, including multiple supervisory teams and skilled mechanics. Responsibilities include managing water distribution lines, service connections, and underground mechanical infrastructure of raw water and potable water while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, operational efficiency, high quality service delivery, and strong technical mechanical expertise.
