Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Process Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a firm that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment processes and mechanical systems.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pumping stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
- Support senior engineers in project development, permitting, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit or other modeling software is a plus.
- Relevant internship experience required for new graduates
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
- Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
