\nCompany Description
Diversified Support Services is seeking a skilled Waterjet / Numerical Control Operator to support precision machining operations in the Acworth, GA area. This role is ideal for candidates with handson CNC experience and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe work practices. The operator will play a key part in meeting production goals while maintaining machining excellence in a fastpaced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision machining operations by monitoring feed rates, speeds, and specialized instruments.
- Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by editing specifications and supporting maintenance activities.
- Complete preventative maintenance, including cleaning and maintaining safe workspaces.
- Utilize blueprints, dimensions, machine instructions, and project guidelines to complete machining tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of experience in a related machining or CNC role.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Technical school accreditation or skilled trades program completion.
- Previous warehouse experience, especially in the metals industry.
- Forklift experience and proficiency with handheld measuring tools.
- Computer literacy.
Schedule & Pay
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
$23-$28 (DOE)
