You arrive to a new artwork ticket for a multi‑color design on plastic cups. You review the spec, mount and prep the printing plates, and ready the offset press that’s been adapted for waterless (dry) offset. You dial in ink formulations and impression/pressure settings, run make‑ready test prints, and fine‑tune color and registration until the image lands perfectly on the three‑dimensional surface. Through the run, you watch the press closely, make mechanical tweaks, and keep quality locked in from first good sheet to final count.
This role centers on decorating 3D plastic products—cups, tubes, lids—using a process similar to conventional offset lithography, but without water. You’ll keep the machine stable, the colors consistent, and the production moving.
