SUMMARY Provides game day support to the athletics department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Admissions
Welcome guest during game time
Receives monies for admissions
Current entry fee
Current students, faculty, and staff with ID - free
Non-WAU students, faculty and staff - $5.00
Children 5 and under - free
Allows entry to visitors on Team Guestlist that is provided by Office Manager
Assist with set up before the game and clean up after the game
Set up before the game and takedown after game
Clean up
Make sure no one sits in a position that their legs hang off stage
Security / Door
Ensures that guest/visitors do not walk on the court, behind the basketballs hoops, sit with legs hanging off the stage, jump off the stage, or hang around the entrance doors/stairwell.
May be asked to open doors for referees or visiting team.
Assist with set up before the game and clean up after the game

Pull out bleachers
Set up chairs for players
Set up tables and chairs for admissions and concessions
Clean up
Floor Cleanup
Moves quickly to clean slippery areas on the court as told by referee, coaches, or other game staff.

Receives direct supervision from the Department Office Manager, Athletic Director, and Compliance Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
The worker must be able to lift 40 lbs.
